Some helpful info

Audio set-up
Podcasts are auditory mediums, so we can't emphasise the importance of decent audio enough. It can be the difference between people being invested in your message, or not.
Microphones - you don’t have to go out and buy a fancy microphone for this interview but you WILL need some kind of mic other than the one already in your computer. Most people simply use their phone headset, like the Apple ones that come with an iPhone. Borrow some if need be!
It's far more important to think about the space you record in. Make sure it's a quiet room where you won't be interrupted, and as much as possible where background noise is to a minimum. It's also preferable to record in a space where the sound doesn't reverberate...basically this just means do not record from a bathroom!
Decent internet - slow internet creates a delay, it makes it really hard to keep the flow of our conversation. It also helps if you close all other tabs/windows/programs on your computer so there's no other possible interference.

Process of the interview
The interview will be recorded via Riverside.fm and you should receive a link to connect within your calendar invite.
Don't stress, WE WON'T START RECORDING straight away. You'll have time to have a brief chat with Sam before the recording starts.
She'll ask the first question then dive into your story/answers and make way through the other questions over the course of 25-30 minutes.
As far as what to expect in the interview, it's pretty conversational. You'll get a feel for the style from listening to other episodes of the podcast.
If there's somewhere you want others to be able to find you (e.g. a website or CTA) you can plug that at the end.
Sam will record an introduction to the interview afterwards then the team will do some post-production work to create the episode.
Once it's ready to go live, we'll send you a link to share with your tribe. We'll also post on our own social media, tagging you if we can, and send to our email database.
Please keep in mind that each episode takes a lot of hours to go live, so please share lovingly and liberally!

Post-production
Rest assured, this won't be a live call. Our team will do some editing and producing to get the flow right. If you make a mistake or we do get interrupted, we can edit it out, no worries at all.
We are very careful about privacy for you, your colleagues and your clients, so prefer you not to mention specific names of people, businesses, locations that give these away etc. But if you do accidentally mention specifics, we can always edit it out in post-production.
